Snow and ice! Bit different to sand and sea. Trips to the beach have been suspended for the time being. I've been using the time to set up my workshop-in-a-box(room), making the most of a small out-building measuring six feet by six feet I have to be inventive with my use of space!
I've also been trying out new things - drilling pebbles (successfully) , hand cutting rebates (rabbets) for photo frames (needs perfecting!) and experimenting with new materials on my seaglass jewellery.
I'm now waiting for two things - the delivery of the clock movements I'v ordered and..... an end to the snow!!

New Year

New Years Day 2010 saw me with the family, in my favourite place - on the beach, cold but enthused!
This year sees the start of a new blog and the new venture of Ebb & Flow (find me on Folksy!).
In the past year, my art, my photography, has been moving more and more towards three- dimensional craft and I have begun experimenting with seaglass jewellery, driftwood creations and clocks, not to mention trying to figure out what I can make from the rope and old bouys.
Needless to say, everyone got driftwood gifts this Christmas!
